Andrew Luck and the Indianapolis Colts will welcome Ryan Tannehill and the Miami Dolphins to Indianapolis for the first duel between the rookie quarterbacks. Andrew Luck was the first overall pick in the 2012 NFL Draft, and Tennehill went eighth overall. Both quarterbacks have been playing well so far, but Andrew Luck has been making Indianapolis his home, playing his best football while in his home dome, and having an impressive 3-1 home record. Both quarterbacks are leading their teams with 4-3 records, but only one will have a winning record as the two teams will be finishing off the first half of their seasons today.
The Colts will need their defense to buckle down and be able to contain Reggie Bush, who has been having an excellent season, but they must also find ways to prevent Tannehill from making plays. Additionally, the Colts will need Andrew Luck to play the way he has been playing at home, and conclude the first half of the season with a 5-3 record. The Colts are in a great position to make a push towards a playoff spot, and a loss today would be a setback against one of the other contenders. Look for the Colts to come out passing today.
